    Forrest Yoga (6 week course, 6 x 60min classes)

    with Helen Meadows 

    This 6 week Forrest Yoga course focuses on breathing techniques, basic moves and their anatomical and physiological impact as you are led, step by step through the foundations of Forrest Yoga.

    Ideal if you have never practised yoga, have not experienced formal yoga tuition or if you are new to Forrest Yoga specifically. This course will equip you with the tools you need to practice safely and intelligently with some valuable take-home skills to help with everyday health and wellness.

    This course is suitable for all levels. More experienced students will also benefit from exploring the essential elements of Forrest Yoga to develop an existing practice.

    Classes begin on Monday 2nd March at 7pm and continue every Monday at 7pm until the 6th of April.

    Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class is due to start and if you have one, please bring you own mat. Wear clothes that you can move comfortably in, plus extra layers for the laying-down bit. Cosy socks welcome!


    Forrest Yoga

    Forrest Yoga links physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing for  a  more profound and holistic yoga experience. Building emotional and physical strength over the 6-week course, equipping you with tools and skills to take into your everyday life.

    It all starts with the ability to connect to and deepen the breath.

    Each pose is tailored to work for you and your specific physical and emotional needs and this course is suitable for anyone with chronic or acute injury or illness. This course is also suitable for pregnancy (please advise the teacher of any issues before the class begins).

    Helen Meadows

    Helen is a certified Forrest Yoga teacher (200hr Yoga Alliance registered) having completed both the foundation and advanced training programmes. Helen teaches weekly classes, private sessions and workshops in Perthshire and Dundee. 

    Helen also holds a PhD in Anatomy and Forensic Human Identification and has worked in the field of Forensic Anatomy and Life Sciences for over 10 years. Forrest yoga has been a continuation of this career and her classes have a strong anatomical focus, encouraging spacious, intuitive and therapeutic movement to increase physical and mental acuity. 

    Forrest Yoga helped Helen to manage her work-life balance as well as develop a long-term strategy to cope with stress and anxiety. Now, as a certified instructor, she uses her unique skillset to benefit those who seek to better understand the intrinsic link between yoga and the human body and those who simply want to discover what yoga can do for them.
