A cosy hideaway...
COTTAR, Cotter, Cottier, n. Older meaning: a tenant on a farm who occupied a cottage with or without a piece of land attached, the farmer working the cottar's land in return for services rendered.
The Cotterhouse at Guardswell Farm sits neatly at the bottom of the farm track, with framed views over the Carse of Gowrie and North Fife. A little tardis, the Cotterhouse looks like a little cottage, but inside you'll find four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living/dining space and a kitchen!
Great if you're attending an event nearby, or just looking for somewhere to stay close to both Perth and Dundee. OR why not come and enjoy the farm with us- speak to the donkeys, feed the sheep, walk across the hills, look for wildflowers, sit and read a book...just watch the world go by!!

Quirky interiors- with old wooden tennis rackets adorning the walls, and old bits of character filled furniture.
All of our accommodation at Guardswell Farm is self-catering, however, we occassionally have events on in the Steading (have a look at the EVENTS tab) which involve food!!
Guardswell is a little escape from the modern, fast paced world- and as such- we dont have any wifi or televisions (however, a lot of the farm does have 4G if you need to catch up with the world). We hope you enjoy the conversations, the board games and the silence.
