A hardy sheep, creates a hardy wool. Perfect for a thick winter jumper, with a little built in waterproofing. The sort you pop on on top of a few other layers for a brisk walk over frosty ground.

Our wonderful Hebridean sheep are shorn twice a year- and for the most part, dark coloured fleece is regarded as useless. Not to us however. We choose the best of our Hebridean fleeces, and this is the result. Anything we deem to not be "the best", is used around the farm for mulching and composting our market garden.

All of our Angora goats and Hebridean sheep love a little socialising- so if you're staying with us on the farm in a house or hut, we'd be happy to introduce you.
