FIVE FOR THE FARM: GUARDSWELL FARM’S FOUNDER ANNA LAMOTTE

Our team and guests share their five favourite things for a stay at Guardswell Farm.

DISH

Gill Meller's Pork, Cider and Leek stew. Perfect cooked on top of the log burner, or even over the fire pit. Served with a massive hunk of sourdough and shared between friends.

SECRET SPOT

I have a few… One is in the middle of the “Big Wood” where you have to push your way through the bracken. The floor is littered with wild strawberries. Another is the swings right on the very top of the hill. And last but not least, The Glasshouse early morning with a cup of tea.

BOOK

Sarah Langford's Rooted – a brilliant, balanced, nostalgic story of British farming that makes me think of my grandfather.

PLAYLIST

Guardswell's AUTUMN playlist on Spotify. Listen here.

DAYTRIP

Dunkeld. Lunch at The Taybank, bun and loaf shopping at Aran, a wander along the Tay- and now saying hello and visiting my sister’s farmstand, at Little Trochry Farm.
