PASTA WITH EASTFIELD

The Cart Shed Kitchen at Guardswell couldn’t be a dreamier place to learn to cook. Views over the Carse, hens scratching outside the window, and a whole farm to pick herbs, vegetables and foraged ingredients from.

Join us for the first of a small series of Cookery Classes taught by the incredible Harris McNeil, of Eastfield Dundee.

Harris is no stranger to Guardswell- from his wedding day being hosted here, to spending lockdown in our kitchen making pasta, to the countless pop ups and events he’s cooked for on the farm. We are beyond thrilled that he is now going to pass that knowledge onto you.

A day focused entirely on P A S T A

Sunday 9th June

10am-2.30pm

We’ll start the day with a coffee and chat in the Steading, then head to the kitchen to learn a little of the theory of pasta, followed by learning to make a few different shapes + sauces. A little pause to eat a pasta heavy lunch, then back to kitchen for a final flurry of making to ensure you have some delicious bits to take home with you.

A 4.5 hour workshop, lunch + glass of wine (or a Guardswell cordial), plus recipes and some goodies to take away with you.

After the workshop, you are more than welcome to spend a little time wondering around the farm- whether thats sitting and taking in the view, or taking a hike up to the boat.
