Sustainable Seafood with Eastfield. A Cookery Class.

If you’re anything like us- choosing and sourcing seafood that isn’t going to be contributing to already decimated fish stocks or damaging marine ecosystems is incredibly challenging. Join Harris McNeill, of Eastfield Dundee, at Guardswell for a day of learning and cooking.

You’ll learn to prepare and cook a couple of different British fish species, as well as a focus on shellfish- a long standing food source on the British isles.

We’ll start the day with a coffee and chat in the Steading, then head to the kitchen to get cooking. A little pause to eat a delicious lunch, then back to kitchen for a final flurry of making to ensure you have some delicious bits to take home with you, as well as some recipes.

This workshop is a slightly higher price point to ensure only the best and most sustainable of produce is bought to allow you to learn with and taste it- Harris will be more than happy to share the sources with you after the class.

A 4.5 hour workshop, lunch + glass of wine, plus recipes and some goodies to take away with you.

After the workshop, you are more than welcome to spend a little time wondering around the farm- whether thats sitting and taking in the view, or taking a hike up to the boat.

We may also have a little accommodation available on the farm- if you’d like to make a weekend of it.
