A little cottage, with a big view! Guardswell Cottage sits snugly next to the Steading, with a south-facing panoramic window, taking in the insanely beautiful view over the Carse of Gowrie, River Tay and Fife. The cottage has had both an internal and external face-lift in the last couple of years and is furnished in a very playful, fresh and light manner.

A wrap-around deck to the front of the Cottage is the perfect spot for a summer evening dinner, or somewhere to watch the clouds pass overhead and the Hebridean sheep “baa” in the field in front. It sleeps 4 in a Twin room and a King room, with a light open plan living dining space, kitchen and bath/shower room.

All of our accommodation at Guardswell Farm is self-catering, however, we occasionally have events on in the Steading (have a look at the EVENTS tab) which involve food!! 

Guardswell is a little escape from the modern, fast paced world- and as such- we dont have any wifi or televisions (however, we do have 4G if you need to catch up with the world). We hope you enjoy the conversations, the board games and the silence.

YOUR STAY

  • Check-In/Out Days- Monday (2 night), Wednesday (2 night) and Friday (3 night).

    Check-in times from 4pm-8pm

    Check-out by 11am

  • All of our properties at Guardswell Farm are self catering- however, we do sell some of our own produce, and some local produce, in our Provisions Store.

    We do occassionally host pop up dinners- so take a look at our event page.

    As of 2024, all bookings will have the option to add a breakfast basket onto their stay. This can be added at the point of booking.

    Our Guardswell Breakfast Baskets will be delivered on your day of arrival, and include a little selection to last your stay. They contain everything we love in a breakfast- simple, homemade and slow-paced. Sourdough and homemade preserves, Guardswell granola, eggs from our hens, beautiful ground coffee, Diggers Apple Juice Scottish yoghurt and a jar of homemade compote. You are welcome to explore the farm with your breakfast- why not enjoy it in the boat or the glasshouse.
